INHUMAN, SHUTDOWN Members Join Forces In THE LAST STAND

December 18, 2010

Michael Scondotto, vocalist for veteran New York hardcore act INHUMAN, has teamed up with the members of another Brooklyn-based hardcore band, SHUTDOWN (Victory Records),to form THE LAST STAND.

THE LAST STAND has self-released a four-song CD (500 copies
made). A track from the effort, "Opportunities Lost & Found", is available for free download for free at www.thelaststandnyhc.com.

In February 2011, a limited-edition five-song seven-inch EP from THE LAST STAND will be released via 1124 Records.

Commented Scondotto: "THE LAST STAND was formed by four old friends for a sole reason, the love of hardcore music.

"INHUMAN is taking a brief hiatus with Joseph James recording the new AGNOSTIC FRONT record and Hank Hell touring with SEVENTH VOID, so the timing was right for the formation of THE LAST STAND.

"While INHUMAN and THE LAST STAND both within the same genre, I think they are coming from different places, with INHUMAN representing the darker side of life and THE LAST STAND being a more positive hardcore band."

THE LAST STAND is:

Michael Scondotto - Vocals
Dion DeNardo - Bass
Steve DellaCroce - Guitar
Jimmy McCormack - Drums
